Watch her G-O!

Since Emily was out of school on November the 4th for election day, I thought it would be a great day to take off from work and get a few things done.

At 9:00 we were at Portrait Innovations to get Emily's holiday pictures taken. I thought that it would go fast since we were the first appointment in the morning. Well, we still ended up waiting for the next room to become available but it sure was better than last year's waiting time.

Then it was off to the Chevy service department for an oil change and to get the tire fixed. After that, we picked up the pictures from Portrait Innovations and headed to the polls. We walked in and I voted immediately.

At this point it was after noon and we were hungry so we stopped at a pizza joint and enjoyed a yummy lunch. Emily ate really well for a change.

Since we had a few minutes to spare before her doctor's appointment, we stopped in JoAnn's and looked around.

The doctor's visit went well but very slow as usual. Emily got the flu mist. She was thrilled she didn't have to have a shot. One of the questions that the doctor asked was if Emily could ride a bike. The doctor was shocked to no ends when I told her no. She asked if I thought that something was wrong. I told the doctor that she just didn't have the desire to learn and Emily responded that yes she wanted to learn. In short, it embarrassed her. Therefore, after one more stop, we went home, got her bike and she learned how to ride her bike.

Look at her go!!

The trick to learning Emily how to ride her bike was to remove the pedals. In short, she couldn't learn to balance and pedal at the same time. Once she learned to balance herself, the pedals were put back on and it wasn't long before she was really riding her bike.
