On Monday, November the 3rd, Emily lost her tooth at school. She was highly disappointment that Mrs. Baum just handed her a zip lock bag instead of sending her to the clinic. She put the tooth in the zip lock bag and put it into her book bag.
All was well until one little girl at the YMCA needed proof of Emily's so called lost tooth. I understand the little girls doubt, because Emily's replacement tooth is already half way in! Therefore, Emily pulled out the bag with the tooth. Unfortunately, the tooth never got back into the book bag. Poor Emily has a slight problem with keeping up with her things. Maybe this experience will help her remember to keep up with her things. Time will only tell.
I had to work late on Monday night and when I called to check on things on the home front, Hartford reported what had happened and she was extremely upset. I told him to tell her to write a letter to the tooth fairy and that she would understand. Here's her letter:
Here is the note that describes her crying:
Here's the snack that she left the tooth fairy.
Her innocents melts my heart.
