Craft for Missy Cat

The other day I found directions to make a cat scratching toy. I thought, "Wow, Missy cat would love it and Emily would enjoy making it with me." Well, at least I was half right, Emily giggled a lot when she was helping me make it. However, Missy wasn't the least impressed with it. That was until I put catnip on it, then she enjoyed it for 45 seconds and hasn't gone near the thing since.
