Cowgirl Daisy

I'm starting to feel sorry for the kittens, Emily has been dressing them up in American Girl doll clothes. Yesterday, I saw Daisy wearing a number of things, and I saw Rascal wearing a doll bib. But honestly, they seem to be tolerating the attention well. They are still purring. Emily is calling them her kitty dolls.

Playing in the leaves

The kittens watched. I thought of our sweet Missy cat when I saw them watching us

The cat tree

They love their new cat tree.

Rascal being a rascal

Rascal is definitely an active kitty. He loves to play. These pictures were taken a few days ago. As I type, Rascal and Emily are playing in the kitchen. Emily is throwing mice and giggling non-stop as Rascal runs after them and pounces them. Daisy is content to watch them.

This morning

Last night I was throwing in another load of laundry into the washer and Rascal came for a visit. This means that he is 100% pet door trained. One down and one to go. As soon as Daisy is pet door trained, the litter box will be moved downstairs and none too soon.

I washed Missy's bed yesterday and they loved it. Rascal slept in it last night ans Daisy curled up in it this morning.
This is how Daisy prefers Emily to hold her.

Lazy Saturday

Emily hasn't felt well today so she stayed on the couch most of the day. The good news, she had company.

I'm pretty sure that it is called love.

Eating

Rascal: "Can I have a bit of that?"
Rascal: "She said no."
